THE POWERFUL WORD

TRUSTING GOD’S WORD TO DO GOD’S WORK

The powerful and vibrant ministry of William Orange in the 1930s and 40s saw many people raised up and sent out for mission both here in New Zealand and around the world. Known widely as ‘Orange Pips’ their legacy has been ministry which is rooted powerfully in the word of God and marked by a deep trust in God’s word to do God’s work. Their influence can be seen in many different churches and in the lives of many Christians across denominations to this day. Today there is a great need for men and women to imitate William’s ‘Orange Pips’

  • For people from all around New Zealand to be so captured by the gospel their lives are radically transformed
  • For people so eager to sit under teaching that brings the scriptures to life they would do so at great cost to themselves
  • For people with such a deep burning passion for the advance of the gospel and the growth of His kingdom, they would dedicate their lives as ministers, missionaries or key church members

Today there is great need to trust God’s powerful word to do God’s work!

These resources are from series of workshops on the
24th, 25th, and 26th of January 2017

We were joined by William Taylor from St Helen’s Bishopgate, London as we dug into the book of Acts, unpacking how Paul’s ministry and hearing the lessons learned in St Helen’s training ministry that has been used by God to equip many people for lay and vocational ministry in the UK and around the world.

The Apostle Paul was

no one-band-man
no one-stop-wonder
no cowboy-builder.

How does that shape our own ministry?
