Help People to Connect and Stay Connected

How do we help people to love and belong to their church family?

Against a backdrop of increasing isolation and independence in New Zealand and across the western world, the scriptures remind us that we are more than individuals. United by the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus – we have been made into a new people! Yet the reality of going to church can be so different. This workshop focuses on how to provide a clear pathway to help people to connect and stay connected to their church.

Nick Duke leads the staff team and preaches at Cornerstone. Cornerstone grew out of a church planted next to the University of Canterbury in February 2008. With a particular vision of making disciples at the university, Cornerstone Campus Church grew to over 150 members before planting Cornerstone Community Church in 2013, which reaches the suburbs around Riccarton.

Rowan Hilsden leads the staff team at Auckland Evangelical Church. Auckland Evangelical started in 2012, and is a church that is committed to plant churches, so that more people can hear of the great news of Jesus!
